I playe sonic on the Sega at a friends house when i was a kid, i liked it, but i dont think the new sonic games are that good, neither are the rockman or mario games though ^^ The nostalgia is what makes it really good i think.
Yes, machine translation can be hard to understand, I tried using one to write something in japanese but it did not look right at all. I am a very big fan of Rockman, he is much cooler than mario and I have played all of the games from when i was a kid ^^
I understand some japanese, I have only been studying for a few months, and the kanji is really hard. I saw the Steins;gate Anime, and only afterwards found out about the game, though I am not skilled enough in japanese to play the game I think. I am playing Rockman Dash:2 to learn more, bought it when I visited japan last year. Perhaps when i get better at Nihongo I will try and play it.
