I feel kind of the same way about it. Angel Beats had a lot of nice characters, but not one that stuck out the most. I did like Yuri, Shiina and Yui though.

You're right it is true to life to a degree, but I felt that Nana was much more so. Maybe I'm just doing a bad job explaining. XD I have seen Angel Beats. It was probably my least favorite of the Key anime, but it was still really good. Who's your favorite character from Angel Beats? Yeah, there's so many Vocaloid songs out now it feels like it would take forever to listen to all of them. @_@
