Non-Otaku

Non-Otaku Hello! Hello, every-nyan!
My question is: Personally do you think you would be able to date someone that didn't watch anime, read manga, etc?

It would be a challenge which is bad for me. I'm too old for most Otaku.

yeah i would have to watch it by myself but there are clubs around that say they will play anime (rubbish ones) so i could always join one to get away lol

I bleed anime and manga I dont think I could lol

Personally wouldnt really bother me. Id prefer someone like me again if possible, but if the person cared enough about me, they would understand that everyone has differences and if they dont have the same (or any) love for anime that I do, as long as they understand I do love it, and let me do what I do in my own time, then yes, I could date a non-otaku, I would just prefer not to!

That wouldn't bother me at all. Hopefully, I would be with them for their personality, not their manga collection.

Fortunately, my fiance and I both have a mutual liking for anime though we both occasionally need a break from it or else we get cranky.

I could date someone who wasn't into anime and/or manga, but that means I would have to teach them about it. It would be nice if my possible significant other already liked anime.

I would, I've actually been there a few times before. The first time I did she ended up liking anime by the end of our relationship. I don't want to change them entirely just introduce them to my world. They either accept you or not.

I've dated non-otaku, it doesn't bother me, mainly since I've never met another otaku in my area to date XD

I have dated girls who didn't like to watch Anime or play much or if any video games. Granted yeh its harder to find the middle ground and sometimes opposites attract. But for the time I was with them it was nice. I am still friends with some of them too.
