Owning a car or not?

I honestly hate when someone says she wouldnt date anyone who doesn't have a car, I don't have one because of personal choice. So, would you date anyone who doesn't have a car?
blondeangel
That's a good question! I know a lot of people walk everywhere like NY and what not, but it's certainly nice to have car, and its needed in most areas like long distances and stuff

I have a car, but if I knew she wouldn't date people without a car, I wouldn't date her, be like DAAA FUC OUTTTAAA HERE

If a girl asked me to have a car for dates I'd seriously tell her: "Hun, I don't want to drive to dates because if I have both hands on the steering wheel I can't hug you."
blondeangel
you can hug before and after the car ride though cant you? Or put it in park and hug that way?

It aint about that, it's just basically gold diggers

I don't like it if my partner doesn't have a car, it's not about gold digging, but for some reason everyone always wants a ride but never wants to help with gas. I'm your date, not your chauffeur. However, not owning one isn't a deal breaker, it's pretty stupid that some people would think that not owning one would be. Mooching, however, is. Not everyone can afford a car, not everyone has had the luxury to be able to keep their car, and not everyone wants one. Here in Denver, we have an amazing public transportation system and now we have Uber and Lyft, so it makes it easy and affordable for people who don't have cars.
blondeangel
where I am transportation sucks so you own your own there and it' be better to have a car, the bigger cities are better on that kinda stuff

Depends on your needs, work/school, where you live, etc. For me a car is essential because I drive 20 miles round trip each day I work. If I lived closer to my job, at worst I probably would drive a lot less, but it's nice to be able to travel when needed and why I might consider a LDR within reason.
