Best live action adaption?

kagemushalosbot
i think, shogun assassin (lone wolf and cub) Shinobi heart under blade (basalisk) battle royale (Battle royale) Ichi the killer (ichi the killer) oldboy korean version (oldboy) Lupin III (lupin III) Cityhunter (cityhunter) Now don't get me wrong, not all adaptations are great but still entertaining like Dragon Ball Evolution (Dragon Ball) Yakuza weapon (yakuza weapon) Oldboy american version (oldboy) Haven't seen attack on titan or GANTZ or deathnote but i hear that they were ok... What do you think?

Battle Royale, seriously??? It was horribly Hilarious no where near as awesome as the manga. But to answer, I would Say Hellgirl was a pretty cool Live action.

I Think the camp added to its charm, And you can only fit so much in to a live action adaption. Thanks for your input brotha!

People trash it a lot for having a miscast pretty boy lead actor but for the most part I remember enjoying the Kaiji movie and finding it a pretty decent and faithful adaptation. Another with mentioning was the initial-d movie. While I was disappointed that it didn't have the euro beat, it was nice to see all the real world cars racing in all their glory. I gotta agree with altair88 Battle Royale is a decent movie as far as movies go, but compared to the manga it felt very rushed. I also took real issue with the main antagonist being changed from a cold and calculating emotionless genius to a generic crazy psycho for the film.

I've only watched a few live actions, so I'll say Anohana. If game adaptations count, then I say Mortal Kombat (the first movie).

Tough split between Death Note and Rurouni Kenshin... Death Note worked since it was more realistic to fit into filming, but came off as kinda corny. Kenshin stretched a little bit but the battle scenes were absolutely no joke.
