Anybody else bothered by Jynx change?

Anybody else bothered by the change in color of the pokemon Jynx? P.S. I already know it was because some people were offended by it.

Yes! I'm deeply offended! Change Jinx back! Damn, purple-blue Jinx. They should change Cloyster and Shellder and Tangela too. They were all the same color for the same reason!

I barely even noticed. Always thought it was a purple-tinted black, and they just lightened it slightly... Either way I don't care. xD It's a game/anime aimed at kids, so I can understand why they would.

Gah!! No Kohagura-chan, not you too! Don'cha see it's just plain wrong? Precisely because it's just a game/anime it should have been a non-issue. Now Jinx looks like a grape. *cry*

Meh. It's only offensive if the people on the receiving end perceive it at being offensive. I mean, look at Brock. He was changed out for a different character, but put back in when the company realized no one took offense to him. Unfortunately, people these days will sue over anything o.o

I dunno, from what I see, most of the people who are offended by such things are not on the receiving end... Like stereotype jokes about Asians that neither me or my family are offended by and actually make fun of ourselves, and yet people of other races will be ranting and mass-debating about. @_@ I mean, I guess I can understand if they don't want to see the others hurt, but sometimes small things are just no big deal compared to the other issues we deal with. Though there are jokes that I think aren't okay to do(especially in public) like aggressive sexism or the Nazi salute.

WOW, I did not know about the Brock thing until you mentioned it ventornado. Somebody found his EYES offensive.......seriously....I mean come ON.....I was NEVER bothered by Jynx nor Brock's eyes and I NEVER even thought anything about them until someone mentioned "said" supposed problems.
