Haruhi Suzumiya Light Novels

izumi25x
I will get straight to the point, this thread is regarding the light novel series for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. To my knowledge there are 12 volums plus The Rainy Day... I was wondering if anyone has heard any news on future volumes (author has stated series does not end with The Surprise / The Astonishment Part Two, which was the latest volume in the series... If there are any updates or news, please share with the world! And if I find our first, of course I will share if anyone else likes this series!

I don't think there will be another Haruhi anime in the near future. They cancelled the series because Haruhi's seiyu, Aya Hirano apparently slept with a band member or something. Which I don't get, like are seiyu idols that can't date people? And even if that was the case, why dodd she continue to voice Lucy from Fairy Tail... Heck even the Haruhi in the 2015 anime based off the Yuki Nagato spinoff manga? Thanks for reply... Wish there was news tho... I hope it doesn't degenerate into a Hoshino with D. Gray-man. Suddenly hiatus 3 years, come back and future releases are epically slow... Though I will give more leeway or understanding as this is am entire volume not a single chapter, lot more work

Unless you are already doing it, SUPPORT IT by buying the novels. so far i have the three first. Will soon have all of them. Well i don´t know since i haven´t read them all but it would be boring if another series went on hiatus. If i find anything i will post here. Also for other series. try supporting more than just reading online. I feel anime is a bit expensive but Manga and novels are cheap.

Don´t the seiyus, bands and voice recording work outside the production studio. Don´t think it should affect a series too much. So far i don´t really care for the anime but i still want the novels.

If i had the money to have a mansion, I planNed to have an entire library. A room in the house dedicated to manga, light novels, and anime. But as of current times I can't even afford to treat someone to lunch right now.

And I am happy I am not alone in my love for light novels! Will look forward to any news you or anyone else brings

I always try to go for the source material. I am tired of unfinished animes (almost all of them are) So i spend lots of time buying manga and novels. I only download visual novels as I still can´t read japanese but i buyed 5 visual novels from japan as motivation to learn. Have you read the empty box and the zeroph maria something. it is a really good light novel series, i have it on my phone. and no it is uncomplete. Thou i haven´t updated it for a while.
