Anyone watching God Eater this season?

I'm watching it. I'm kind of surprise by the 3D animation style they are using. Even those clothing movement seems more realistic and flows better in wind an movement. Witch is why I think they went with that style to animate this anime. What are your thoughts on the animation, story plot, and character development.

I never play the game, but I did read the manga when it was going online and the anime story is a little different those the characters are the same.

I've never played the games and though the show feels a little riddled with cliches its still has been very enjoyable so far and the action engaging.
