Cosplay Advice?

Cosplay Advice? My girlfriend and I were wondering about suggestions of what to cosplay as. We are planning on attending Youmacon this fall. Since we are both on the overweight side, it is quite difficult for us to figure out what to do. I have no problem shaving, or going with a different hair style, but my girlfriend would rather not cut her hair.

Hey there. I'm new here as well but I'm willing to share some advice. Cosplay is mostly about sharing your interests as oppose to how good you look in it. Your best bet in putting together a cosplay that works for the both of you. An easy example would be a typical Naruto + Sakura setup if you have an interest in that series. Don't worry much about how you look...just enjoy the interest that both you and your girlfriend have. If you're seriously self-conscious about your looks then it's up to you to make the lifestyle change. Hope the both of you have fun on your convention. ^_^b
