I've seen Hugurashi and elfen lied on that list. I think the title is a little bit misleading. What it is really saying is that they are not for the feint of heart, not nessesarily that they are bad anime. I suggest elfen lied and Higurashi to people who think anime is for kids.

Clickbait. Some of the earlier titles were "extreme" in their time, say the early 90's, but the only regret I ever felt was wasting the time watching a few.
