tell me when can a person simply 'stop buying anime t-shirts and apparel?' when will the family interventions ever end?

If it's your money that you've earned and what you buy with it makes you happy then I don't think it's really fair for anyone, family included, to tell you otherwise; especially since it's just clothing. I was like that with band merch but I grew out of that asides from wearing my American Football jacket and the occasional band shirt, but during my time no one ever really told me I was overdoing it.

You need to go to a AAA meeting....Anime Apparel Anonymous! The first step is admitting you have a problem ^_^

The only dangerous amount of anime merchandise is 'none'

I don't have much. For shirts I have 2 Miku, 1 Meiko, 2 Kyubey, and 1 Grell. Also have a Matryoshka hoodie. For wallscrolls I have a Haruhi, K-On!, Madoka, Miku, Evangelion, and Black Rock Shooter. That's all for me, but you can never have too much, as long as you have the money.
