Massachusetts/Rhode Island?

I'm looking for groups of people as strange as I am to hang out with, and I figure the easiest way to do that is see where to local nerds gather on a regular basis. People who are into anime and/or gaming who I can connect with and have a circle of friends to hang out around. The tough part of this, unfortunately, is that I'm 28 and I don't really have any interest in hanging out with a bunch of teenage kids. I'm looking for people at least decently into their 20's who still have an interest in this kind of stuff.

Late to this, but as someone also 28 I can promise that there are plenty of us still around. There are meets in Boston somewhat regularly, and on May 10th there's going to be a cosplay picnic at the Boston Common. My group is going to cosplay FMA characters there.

A changing area? Like to get into cosplay? Most people just arrive in cosplay, which means they commute in it. There is the option of going to the Pru, changing in the bathrooms (we usually go to the food court) and then commuting from there instead.

My costume is pretty elaborate, I can't realistically commute it. Think gold silk ceremonial robes I have to be careful while walking in. I guess I could just change at the prudential though.
