'Listen to Me Girls. I am Your Father!'

So I was a HUGE fan of Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai. It was unbelievably good. I just started watching the anime and two episodes in I was a little disapointed. The extra backstory they came up with, the headfirst dive into the SS club, and the lack of cute slurs Hina says makes me sad. They also need to tone down the ecchiness. It made more sense after they were living together for a while, but right off the bat???

I thought it was a pretty cute anime that kinda shows us a little bit of how tough the world is. Sometimes anime represents a world of non-violence, romance and happiness with a carefree atmosphere like Host Club or GJ Club. The ecchieness was used as a humor vs. the dark backstory of the anime so that the viewer can have a right mix of laughter with sadness with what they all are going through. I happened to like the series.
