So I got a friend into anime yesterday...

the funny thing is...she said she has never heard of anime. She's heard of DBZ and Naruto, as well as watched them, but everyone has honestly. So the first anime I showed her was Clannad...and she loves it so far. she tried going to sleep but couldn't because she wanted to watch more of it. She's already becoming an otaku =) the symptoms are coming to her quickly

Naruto and dbz is mainstream. Most people think naruto is a disney show because it airs there with quite good rating, which is sad because they air a really bad, censored and just utterly horrible version of the original naruto. I must say I am not one of those narutaku's that love the show to the point their entire living room is stuffed with fan articles and wallscrolls, bur I do give credit the original, uncut naruto is a really amazing show. Bleach actually airs uncut in us even though it has a horrible dub, and look. It has the highest tv rankind of all toonami. Why ? because its uncut. go figures

First time posting in forums so if i make no sense..well nothing new i suppose XD I got my brother into anime but none of my friends. Actually thats a lie, i got one friend obsessed with SAO but nothing else XD *Le end first forum post*

*brofist* I recently got a friend into FMA and she loves it! Next thing I knew she got a whole group into FMA and different anime. The Anime Army is slowly taking over the world. Soon... >:3

Seriously! I remember when Attack on Titan was starting up and friends who weren't into anime loved that show. It's pretty easy to get into anime these days.

My oldest brother, who doesn't watch anime, actually got ME to watch Attack on Titan. My biggest "getting someone into anime" is finding out certain people actually do like anime. Like my cousin, who I thought was the type that would actually shun anime, but instead loves it.
