Cosplay Help!!!

So I've been trying to Cosplay. But I want to cosplay as a character that looks like myself but I don't know such a character. So can you help me out and tell me who I look like and I'll see if I can cosplay as them. Thank you.

... yeah sure go cosplay something pure because it looks like you. not because ...you know... you actually LIKE the character and are into it. :|

I would suggest that instead of looking for a character that looks like you. You should find a character that you like that has a similar personality to yours. That way you can stay in character for all the people who like that character just as much as you and have fun doing it.

What you look like shouldn't matter much at all because your appearance can change completely depending on what you wear, how the surrounding light looks, and how you adjust makeup (which I personally recommend all cosplayers wear a little bit of because it looks a ton better in pictures). Cosplay as someone you want to cosplay! People in cosplay nearly always look incredibly different from their usual selves so you might as well look like someone you enjoy!

Thank's guys! :3 I normally do just that. I mean cosplay as characters that I like and have a similar personality to. But I'm trying to due something different this time around you know. It may sound weird but that's what I'd like to try. ^_^

There are databases online where you can search for characters based on how they look and other stuff (Here's one I found after 10 seconds of Googling it: http://www.animecharactersdatabase.com/). I typically prefer to cosplay glasses-wearing characters because I wear glasses (AND GRELL IS A SEXY MOMMA) but you really should cosplay a character because you really like them, as everyone has said. Wigs aren't too expensive, you could always use makeup and whatnot. Be creative! That's a part of cosplay.
