One Piece

So after a month of literally re-watching One Piece I have finally entered the time skip once again. Still, I have to say, this is probably one of my favorite ongoing action style animes for it's being realistic on backgrounds, stories, progression, wins, losses, and even draws. I'm glad to see an actual ongoing show being well developed compared to some others that have been done. Anyways, I wanted to see some other opinions on how the story line and progression of this show.

:D *gasp* Yay! Someone else who has a healthy love and respect for my favorite anime series! You're right. I've seen so many others that could have been done so much better.. I was simply blown away by the quality of One Piece. The art, the storyline, all of it is so well developed, so deep, and so full of underlying meanings that an astute observer could easily pick up on. I still learn something new each time I watch the series over again. I've seen the first half of the series (before the time skip) two or three times already (depending on the episode). Each Sunday I anxiously wait for the new episode to be posted to chia-anime.com so that I can watch it. I read the manga too, but I don't keep up with it as regularly as I do the anime. I'm so busy with all the other things I'm doing in my life. :"> I really do adore the show though~ Luffy is my #1 favorite. Trafalgar Law has become my secret crush though here recently.. I love his mysteriousness~ XD

I'm liking the Derossa story arc the manga is in now, but going back to the time skip I really liked the inlcusion of Rey. Gol D. Roger, the young Whitebeard and Garp, the void century - these things fascinate me more than anything else in One Piece. I could watch a whole other show just for Roger. When he started training Luffy it was the last of the kings of old nurturing the new generation. A show that runs a good parallel to One Piece is Fairy Tail. If you like shonens with action, good character development, kick ass music and a heavy emphesis on commrades you should check it out.

I've read Fairy Tail and watched the Anime. Which I am glad that the hiatus of is was over earlier this year. On another note, Sword Art Online , is supposedly coming out with Season 2/3 (if you include ALO) is coming out with Gun Gale Online. I really want to see this so bad...

I've been anxiously awaiting new Fairy Tail episodes. I used to read the manga, but I stopped because I didn't have time. You're right about one thing though! I am so intrigued by Gol D Roger and the mystery of the Void History. I'd DEFINITELY watch a whole new anime based on those two aspects! :D I've yet to see SAO.. I hear good things about it though~ :)

One Piece is my favorite anime because of its huge story, thrilling action scenes, background music, and lovable characters. If there was one anime I would want to be in, it would be this one.

SAME here! :D I'd give ANYTHING to leap into the world of One Piece and stay there until my life faded away with age. ^^
